The Chicago Bulls have not made the NBA Playoffs since 2022 and haven’t won a playoff series since 2015.
With six losses in a row heading into Monday night’s road contest against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Bulls’ future is getting another hard look from insiders.
Chicago general manager Marc Eversly and his staff plenty of time until the NBA Draft on June 25 to prepare a plan of attack to improve coach Billy Donovan’s roster.
Recently, Eversly, Donovan and company were linked to a rising Duke big man that Chicago could be willing to take on as their rebuilding efforts continue in the Central Division.

The Bulls were projected to choose 7-foot-2 center Khaman Maluach in SI’s mock draft with the eighth-overall selection.
Maluach looks to be selected seven slots behind No. 1 overall projected choice Cooper Flagg, his teammate with coach Jon Scheyer’s team.
A native of South Sudan, Maluach weighs 250 pounds and has averaged 8.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game this season all while shooting better than 71%.
The Blue Devils’ freshman is shooting just 18.2 percent from long range this season, making up for it with a free throw percentage of 74.1%.
The Bulls could pencil him in as a backup to starting center Nikola Vucevic, who is expected to remain with the team next if a trade is not completed this coming offseason.
