The Golden State Warriors are experiencing a resurgence, having won four of their last five games. The addition of Jimmy Butler appears to be a significant factor in their recent success. After a shaky start to the season, the Warriors seem to be finding their rhythm.
Following a 132-108 victory over the Sacramento Kings, Stephen Curry shared his insights with the media on how Butler’s integration into the team has progressed. Butler scored 17 points and seven assists. Through five games, he’s averaged 20.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.6 assists.
“ Usually [Butler] makes the right play, and we’re starting to figure out a good chemistry with him, so yeah, it’s been an easy transition,” Curry told reporters.
Curry elaborated on the qualities Butler brings to the Warriors, which intriguingly mirror his strengths. He praised Butler for his ability to read the game and his exceptional facilitation skills, often overlooked by many.
“He sees the floor so well,” Curry noted about Butler. “ I don’t know how many people understood how good of a passer he was. Coach talked about that for the first game. But he can get to his. He can take advantage of the space on the floor.”
Butler’s strengths have enhanced the Warriors’ offensive flow and bolstered their overall play, mirroring Curry’s impact on the team over the years. As Curry continues to draw heavy defensive attention, playing next to someone who creates advantages to attack has made the game easier.

In Friday’s matchup, Curry contributed 20 points and six assists, while Butler added 17 points, seven assists, and three steals, underscoring the duo’s effective collaboration. The Warriors are more cohesive and display a level of synergy that could see them climb higher in the Western Conference standings.
The Warriors’ continued success will likely hinge on how well Curry and Butler mesh their skills and leadership on the court as the season progresses. If recent performances are any indication, the Warriors have much to look forward to with this dynamic duo leading the charge.
