As if there wasn’t enough speculation and rumors swirling as the NBA trade deadline draws even closer, but it would now seem that the Phoenix Suns are shopping Kevin Durant, or, at the very least, taking calls on the superstar.
The Golden State Warriors have emerged as the frontrunner to land Durant, who won two titles with the Warriors and Stephen Curry, but the Oklahoma City Thunder, Miami Heat, and Dallas Mavericks have all been floated as possible landing spots.

The Suns, it would seem, are not playing Durant against the Thunder.
Durant has played the last 25 games and scored 27 points in the Suns’ recent loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. His sitting out has added more fuel to the swirling trade rumors.

However, as we reported earlier today, the likelihood of Jusuf Nurkic, Bradley Beal, or Durant being traded today is not very high. All three were seen at shootaround, and Durant is likely just dealing with soreness.
However, it’s hard to deny any sort of rumors in the final 24 hours before the 3:00 PM EST Feb. 6 deadline, so don’t be shocked if the Suns make a massive move, especially as the likelihood of adding Jimmy Butler dwindles with every minute Bradley Beal refuses to waive his no-trade clause.
