BREAKING: Golden State Warriors’ Jimmy Butler Makes Bold Claim About Facing Miami Heat

The Golden State Warriors’ Jimmy Butler has made a bold claim about facing the Miami Heat in the future.

Jimmy Butler’s time with the Miami Heat did not have a happy ending. After taking the organization to two NBA Finals over his time in South Beach, he was suspended three times by the franchise in quick suspension before being traded to the Golden State Warriors before the February 6 deadline.

The Warriors seem to be all in on Butler as well as they handed him a two-year contract extension.

Butler has made a bright start to life in Warriors colors. They are 3-1 in the four games in which he has played and narrowly lost to the Dallas Mavericks on a night Kyrie Irving put up 42 points.

On the other hand, the Heat are on a four-game losing streak at the moment and will be hoping to bring things back on track following the All-Star break.

The Warriors and the Heat will face each other on March 25 in South Beach and do not expect Butler to go easy on his former teammates.

According to Ali Thanawalla on NBC Sports Bay Area, Butler said on an appearance on Virgin Radio Dubai’s “The Kris Fade Show”: “I’ve been in the trenches with Miami for the past six seasons, and like I tell everybody, the way that they want to beat me and make sure that they beat the Golden State Warriors, I promise you, it’s just as personal for me as well.”

Butler is someone who is at his best on the big occasion. Nobody will know that better than the Heat.

But this time around, they will be the ones hoping to get the better of Butler, who is surely gonna be extra-motivated to win against his former team.

The Warriors seem to be on the rise right now while the Heat are on a downward trajectory. A lot can change between now and March 25 though. In fact, a lot could change on that very day.
