The Denver Nuggets are going to be shorthanded on Tuesday night when they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves in a marquee Western Conference matchup.
This is after it was reported that Jamal Murray was not able to recover in time and is now set to miss his second straight game due to a hamstring injury.
Murray was also out of commission on Friday in Denver’s win over the Utah Jazz, and the fact that the 6-foot-4 combo guard still wasn’t able to shake off the hamstring issue despite a week’s rest (he last played on March 26) has left fans disappointed.
Supporters just had to air their frustration on social media after learning about this unwanted development.
“WTF?!?!!” a comment on X read.
“Three days off for Jamal and still not playing… yikes,” reacted a fan.
“So much for taking the game seriously!” said another.

“Katy please is this an April fools joke 😭😭” another hoped.
“Ugggggh,” a user wrote.
To make matters worse for Denver, Michael Porter Jr. has also been ruled out for Tuesday’s contest due to a personal matter.
It wasn’t all bad news, though, as head coach Michael Malone revealed that Aaron Gordon (illness, calf) will suit up despite being initially tagged as questionable to play. Nikola Jokic (ankle), on the other hand, is on track to play with a probable tag.
The Nuggets enter Tuesday’s matchup against the Wolves with a 47-28 record and the No. 3 spot in the conference. They remain 1.5 games behind the No. 2 seed Houston Rockets, while the fourth-seeded Los Angeles Lakers are breathing down their necks at just a game behind.
