The Golden State Warriors pulled off an incredible comeback on Thursday night, rallying from a 22-point deficit to defeat the Brooklyn Nets. Led by a vintage performance from Stephen Curry, the Warriors improved to 35-28 on the season and have now won eight of their last nine games.
Brooklyn dominated early, closing the first quarter with a 20-point lead and maintaining control through most of the first half. However, Golden State gradually chipped away, reducing the deficit to just five points at halftime. The Nets managed to keep their slim lead through the third quarter, but in the fourth, the Warriors took over, completing yet another thrilling comeback win.

While the game itself was packed with highlights, one moment in particular sent the internet into a frenzy. With the clock winding down, Curry received a pass from Jimmy Butler before launching a heavily contested three-pointer from half-court—and draining it effortlessly.
The now-viral clip, shared by Bleacher Report, had the NBA world buzzing, with Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell joining in on the reaction.
“Cmon yo,” Mitchell posted on his official X account.
Curry finished the night with 40 points, four rebounds, and four assists, marking the 70th 40-point game of his career. With that feat, the two-time MVP now ranks 10th all-time in 40-point games and second among point guards, trailing only Allen Iverson (79).
The Warriors also got key contributions from Jimmy Butler, who added 25 points, two rebounds, and six assists, while Gary Payton II put up a strong performance off the bench with 16 points and nine rebounds.
Golden State will look to continue their red-hot form when they return home to host the Detroit Pistons on Saturday.
