BREAKING: Bruce Vilanch Changes Zoom Name to ‘Travis Kelce’s Mom’ for a Surprising Reason

Bruce Vilanch has unveiled his celebrity doppelganger. 

The comedian, 76, revealed he’s been mistaken for Travis Kelce’s mother Donna.

Vilanch joked about getting phone calls from friends wondering how he got into the Kansas City Chiefs box suites with Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift (who was actually watching the game with Donna).

Vilanch had the audience in stitches as he brought up the resemblance during an appearance on The View. 

‘I would just like to say for you football fans out there, I am not Travis Kelce’s mother,’ Vilanch, who was promoting his new book It Seemed Like a Bad Idea at the Time, said.

‘The resemblance is alarming, I will give you,’ he said. ‘People call me and say, “Dude, at the Super Bowl? What are you doing in a box with Taylor?”‘

‘And I looked and I thought, “Yeah, we are each other’s doppelgänger,”‘ he said. ‘So, Donna,’ he said, doing a phone call gesture.

‘There we are. The blonde hair, red glasses, a little chubbiness,’ he noted of their similar appearances.

Bruce also brought up the resemblance during an interview with The Telegraph, with the comedian changing his Zoom screen name to ‘Travis Kelce’s mother.’

‘I want them to stay together because I want to ride this joke for a while,’ he told the publication. ‘The resemblance is alarming.’

Bruce has likely been getting mistaken for Donna more frequently in recent years ever since her son struck up a romance with Taylor.

Donna, who is the mother of football players Travis and Jason Kelce, has been making more television appearances since Taylor started supporting the tight end at various Kansas City Chiefs games.

She’s forged quite a bond with the country songstress as well, with the duo often pictured having a blast at Travis’ games.

While Travis has been cheering on his girlfriend at various Eras tour shows, Donna has also found her own way to support the singer as well.

In November, fans noticed Donna was wearing a bracelet inspired by Swift’s newest album The Tortured Poets Department.

The gold-plated ‘TTPD’ bracelet retails for $40 on Swift’s online store.

Donna has worn the bracelet several times since Swift released The Tortured Poets Department back in April.

The album may be particularly meaningful to Donna as it features the first songs about Taylor’s romance with Travis, who she’s been dating since last summer.

Last year, Donna made rare remarks about her son’s relationship with the Anti-Hero hitmaker.

While speaking to Page Six at the premiere of Travis’ TV show debut Grotesquerie, she admitted that the relationship between the couple has been ‘kind of interesting’ while also explaining how they’re so good together.

‘He’s a good guy. He really is. He’s good,’ Donna said of her youngest son.

‘He’s kind. He’s generous. And from what I understand, so is she.’

Donna added: ‘I hope they’re having a good time.’

And amid swirling engagement rumors between the duo, Page Six recently reported that the Kansas City Chiefs star’s family would ‘love’ for him to propose to Taylor as they believe she’s a ‘perfect fit’ for him.

An insider is quoted as saying that the Kelce clan – consisting of Travis’ mom Donna, dad Ed, brother Jason and sister-in-law Kylie – all ‘adore’ Swift and hope to see them ‘spend the rest of their lives together.’

‘They’ve never seen Travis so happy with a girlfriend before,’ the source reportedly said about Kelce’s family.

‘[His] family gets along great with Taylor’s family too,’ the insider continued. ‘Their families blend seamlessly.’

They are also said to be confident that Swift is not using Kelce for fame and that she ‘truly loves and cares about him for who he is’, describing her as having a ‘heart of gold.’
