BREAKING: Micah Parsons Makes Stunning Derrick Henry-Dallas Cowboys Admission

Micah Parsons didn’t hold back giving his thoughts on the potential Derrick Henry-Dallas Cowboys marriage that never happened last season.

Micah Parsons has never been afraid to speak his mind. The Dallas Cowboys All-Pro linebacker turned heads with some of his criticism directed towards his own team this season.

It’s no secret the Cowboys struggled this year. Heading into the season the Cowboys had playoff expectations, however, fell short finishing with a 7-10 record (3rd in the NFC East). Injuries were part of the story, as QB Dak Prescott suffered a season ending hamstring injury in Week 9, however, poor play was the storyline of the Cowboys season.

Despite Parsons contributing 12 sacks in 13 games, the Cowboys defense was porous, ranking 31st in points allowed (468). The Cowboys offense struggled mightily as well. They ranked 27th in rushing yards (1,705) and dead last in rushing TDs (6), and according to Parsons, not even the great Derrick Henry would have helped the Cowboys win this season.

Parsons made his feelings known during a recent interview with Adam Schein on Mad Dog Sports Radio:

Derrick Henry singlehandedly outperformed the Cowboys in the RB department in 2024. Henry finished with 1,921 rushing yards and 16 TDs.

Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry runs to score a touchdown at M&T Bank Stadium.

The Cowboys were famously the other team Henry had interest in signing with prior to the 2024 season, but they never pursued him. And according to Micah Parsons, it wouldn’t have made a difference. That is one serious indictment of your own team, and it can’t bode well for Parsons’ long-term future with the Cowboys.
