One Denver Nuggets fan had some harsh words for Luka Doncic when he complained about a foul.

Luka Doncic had his best game in a Los Angeles Lakers jersey on Saturday night as he helped his team finally defeat the Denver Nuggets 123-100. During the game, Doncic tried driving to the basket through heavy contact. After making the shot, Luka complained about a potential foul. Eagle-eyed fans caught a fan sitting courtside telling Doncic to shut up and calling him fat.
“Shut up, fat boy.”
Nuggets fan to Luka:
“SHUT UP FAT BOY”

Doncic didn’t have any reaction to the words from the fan. So one can assume he didn’t see it. It might have been for the best for the Nuggets, as they were already struggling to contain Luka during the game. Had he heard the fan, Doncic would have been even further motivated to wreak havoc against the Nuggets.
Luka Doncic put up 32 points (10-22 FG), 10 rebounds, seven assists, four steals, and one block against the Nuggets. He led the team in scoring, rebounding, assists, and three-point shooting, going 4-9 from beyond the arc as he helped the Lakers get a massive win against the Nuggets, a major conference rival.
Lakers fans were absolutely thrilled to see their team compete at a high level and finally defeat a team that had their number for so many years. Speaking after the game, Luka Doncic seemed happy, declaring that the Lakers had what it took to win it all this season.
LeBron James spoke about his developing chemistry with Luka after the game, noting that the two players are perfectly suited to play with each other. A video of both of their interaction with JJ Redick has fans excited, as Luka seems to be gelling well with the Lakers now. Redick wanted Doncic to have a blackout game against the Nuggets, and it’s safe to say that Doncic did just that.
It appears the trade from the Mavericks to the Lakers was difficult for Luka, something Dirk Nowitzki recently confirmed. But Doncic is beginning to embrace where he is, being inspired by the team’s early showings with him so much that he trained during All-Star break while he was vacationing in Cabo. A locked-in Luka spells trouble for the entire league.
The Lakers now move to the fourth seed in the West with a 34-21 record. The franchise has a chance to win 50 games for the first time since the 2019-20 NBA season.
Of course, fans will point out that the last time the Lakers won 50 games in a season, they went on to win the NBA championship. The hope within the fanbase will be that history repeats itself should the Lakers win 50 games once again this season. They need to win 16 of their next 27 games to be able to do so, which gives them a little room for error.
The Lakers play next on Tuesday night in what is sure to be a can’t-miss game. The Mavericks travel to Los Angeles to play the Lakers, in what will be Doncic’s first game playing against the Dallas Mavericks. Given everything that has been said about him from the Mavericks’ camp, Doncic will be hungry for revenge.
